  • David Hampton

    As a company director, entrepreneur, and strategy consultant for over 30 years, David has established agricultural and technology start-ups then acted as interim CFO or board member and in some cases enabling successful exits. David has been trusted by the executive management of many major corporations on the strategic opportunities and risks created by sustainability challenges and clean technology developments.

    Through his professional accountancy qualification (FCCA), training at IMD Lausanne (MBA) and a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, David is strongly quantitative with deep experience in developing, and financing propositions, both for large scale investments by major companies and plans for early stage start-ups.

  • Daniel Monticello

    Dan has more than 30 years of experience in industrial biotechnology: Over the past decade, he has been VP R&D and Founder of GlycosBio using Enzyme Activated Oil technologies and developing bacteria for production of chemicals. Previously, he was Co-Founder at Molecular LogiX, Inc., a protein engineering biotechnology company. Dan also co-founded and served as VP, R&D for Energy Biosystems Corporation, producing engineered organisms for the bio-desulfurization of fossil fuels and production of industrial surfactants ; it generated over 25 patents and raised over $50m through VC financing and a successful IPO. In addition to his entrepreneurial experience, Dan has held management positions for Miles, Inc.

    Dan has contributed to more than 20 issued US patents, and has published dozens of scientific papers. He received his Ph.D in Microbiology from Michigan State University and was Post-doctoral Research Associate for the University of Georgia.

  • David Lyon

    David has been working in clean technology and natural resource management for over 20 years working as a strategic advisor to the leadership teams of major corporations, financial institutions and start-ups. He has developed strategy and delivered business plans for agribusinesses, industrial biotech solutions, renewable energy development working globally.

    David has been on the management teams of several agriculture, clean technology start-ups; he has enabled growth through the establishment of partnerships between major corporations, government departments, investors and NGOs. David is also able to draw on his early experience and training in Biological Sciences (MA. Oxon, M.ES, Yale) to integrate environmental outcomes into investments.

  • Marcus Clemitson

    Marcus is a company director and entrepreneur with wide-ranging international operations and establishment experience. He has led the process from initial inception of technology startups.

    Marcus has founded several technology startups including a large-scale Recirculation Aquaculture development producing Atlantic Salmon from egg to grow out, design and development of heavy lift turbine drones with integrated AI technology, and an intensive fertigation greenhouse and recirculation water system cutting down leaching and soil pollution by maximizing reusability.

  • Jonathan Treacher

    Jonathan is an experienced International Investment Banker and Lawyer, with over 20 years of experience as an advisor, CEO and Board Member of growth companies and investment funds.

    He is the former CEO and Chairman of a quoted hedge fund with assets of $3.2bn, and has been instrumental as an advisor or Board Member in taking over ten companies to listing, in addition to advising on over 300 transactions in his career to date. Jonathan was admitted to the Bar in Illinois, Florida and Washington DC and currently divides his time between London and Uganda. He is Executive Chairman of Africa Power, Advisor to Smarti, and to Ardour Capital, amongst his other activities.

  • Graham Hiller

    Graham has over 30 year’s experience in scale up and proving of novel processes in materials, industrial biotechnology and biorefining, digital manufacturing, biologics, resource efficient manufacturing systems, hydrogen applications, and fuel cells

    As Director of Strategy and Futures for the Centre for Process Innovation for 15 years, he developed and delivered its strategy of providing open access innovation services to companies of all sizes working in and with the process industries. Prior to joining CPI, he was Director of Strategy and Planning for ICI’s Petrochemicals, Plastics and Fertilizers Business before working for Corus as Construction Director.
    In addition, he has developed and delivered strategy for a wide range of organisations and was core member of the team that created the UK’s High Value Manufacturing Catapult.

    Graham is a Chartered Engineer with a Degree in Metallurgy, PhD from the University of Cambridge and an MBA. He has been a Visiting Professor at Salford University and Teesside University. He was a member of the board of Northumbria University at Newcastle for nine years and is currently Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence at the University.
